Photos of Blue Bird's Nest
These pictures were taken early in 2005.
There were 3 mobile homes on the 2.3 A property when I acquired the land.
One of the mobile homes was older and I sold it off to get the money for the down payment!
I moved into this mobile homes in Feb. of 2005.
This is the front of the home, but we use the back deck as our entryway.
To the immediate right of this picture is where we have located the misting beds for Just Plants.
We took out the old dog fence to give us better access to the whole yard.
The mobile home in the foreground is a triple wide. I had a buyer in it for the first year, but he didn't exercise his option and moved on.
One of my adult children lives here now.
You can see my mobile home in the center distance.
Another view of the triple wide.
There is a large in-ground swimming pool. I really haven't had interest in getting it back into operation.
Then, along came some vandals the first of May, 2007 and did me a huge favor.
The damage they did was covered by my homeowner's insurance. The check I received is what I'm using to finance Just Plants.
So, always look for the good in anything that happens. You'd be surprised how the Divine plan works in your favor.
Co-Op Garden
A neighbor and I started from scratch and put in a 40X60 garden this summer. We are still eating tomatoes and okra October 4th of 2007.
The neighbor became my planting buddy when I decided to become a Backyard Grower.

This is specifically to show some of the
beautiful Leyland Cypress on the corner of
the property.
More of the Leyland's and the mint patch
in the foreground.

The old well. We put this back into operation and ran 350' of black plastic pipe up to my yard to supply the misting system so we didn't have to use expensive city water
